Collar Transfer 2026

A New Beginning for Rotary Club Pipera!

On July 2, 2026, Rotary Club Pipera celebrated one of the most important milestones of every Rotary year—the Collar Transfer Ceremony, marking the official transition of leadership.

During the ceremony, Călin Coșar formally passed the office of Club President to Victor Martin, a founding member of the club, who will lead the team throughout the 2026–2027 Rotary year.

The evening began with a very special moment: welcoming Loreen Weintraub, a highly respected business leader, into the Rotary family. We are delighted to say: Welcome to Rotary Club Pipera!

Another highlight of the evening was recognizing the members who made a meaningful difference throughout the past Rotary year. Paul Harris Fellow recognitions and other awards were presented to those whose commitment, professionalism, and dedication transformed ideas into projects with a real and lasting impact on our community.

The event also provided an opportunity to reflect on an exceptional Rotary year—one marked by numerous successful projects, outstanding results, and a strong financial position that gives us both the confidence and the resources to pursue even more ambitious initiatives in the future. We will share a dedicated post highlighting the achievements of this remarkable year.

Our new President, Victor Martin, introduced his leadership team and outlined the priorities for the year ahead: continuing our signature projects, expanding ongoing initiatives, and launching new programs to serve our community.

That same evening, the Interact Pipera and Rotaract Pipera Collar Transfer Ceremonies also took place.

As always at Rotary Club Pipera, beyond the formal program, we enjoyed an evening among friends in a warm, relaxed, and optimistic atmosphere.

💙 Service Above Self — together, we will continue to make a difference where it is needed most.

Certificate of Appreciation from Rotary District 2485

We are honored to receive this Certificate of Appreciation from Rotary District 2485 (Albania–Kosovo) for the Care for Children initiative project.  This is the recognition of Rotary Club Pipera’s financial contribution and commitment to improving children’s health.

This recognition acknowledges our support for the project “Care for Children – Early Detection of Scoliosis in Tirana Public Schools,” an initiative dedicated to promoting early diagnosis and prevention of scoliosis among school-aged children.

The certificate reflects our shared commitment to enhancing children’s well-being through meaningful community partnerships and sustainable healthcare initiatives. We are proud to contribute to programs that make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of young people and remain dedicated to supporting projects that strengthen the health and future of our communities.

Magister

The Annual Art Exhibition “Magister”

Context

Dedicated teachers who inspire and shape talented students in the artistic field often invest their own resources—both financial and time—to create real development opportunities. One example is Professor Claudia Bunea, a teacher at the “Jean Monnet” Theoretical High School and a visual artist with numerous exhibitions and distinctions. For years, she has organized both school and extracurricular exhibitions, supporting them even with her own funds. However, the high cost of artistic materials limits many talented students’ access to such experiences, reducing their opportunities for recognition and growth.

Project: The Annual Art Exhibition “Magister”

Goals 2025–2026

  • Annual organization of the Magister Art Exhibition featuring works by 25 selected students.
  • Awarding the best works by a professional jury made up of renowned artists and teachers.
  • Collaboration with established exhibition spaces and organizing the opening (vernissage) in June 2026.

What sponsors fund:

  • Professional materials necessary for students to create their artworks.
  • Equipment and logistics for organizing the exhibition (canvases, frames, lighting).
  • Student prizes (masterclasses, art material prizes, specialized workshops), as well as the competition and judging process.

Why Support This Project

  • You directly contribute to the artistic development of talented and ambitious students, giving them the opportunity to work with quality materials and exhibit in a professional environment.
  • You support dedicated teachers who shape new generations of artists and invest in student development.
  • You become part of a visible and valuable community project with real cultural and educational impact.

Thank you for your interest in the projects we support!

Rotary Club Pipera Christmas Gala – Generosity Turned into Action

On a festive evening, elegance and the desire to do good came together at the Rotary Club Pipera Christmas Gala, which brought together over 150 members, guests, and community partners.

Every act of involvement contributed to supporting causes that change lives: Auzim cu sufletul, Moștenitorii României Muzicale, Șoimii Rugby School, Magister – Excellence Fund for Talented Students, as well as a special donation to the Save a Child’s Heart program, dedicated to children with congenital heart defects.

The funds raised will be transformed into hope: chances at life for children, access to education and technology for students with special needs, opportunities for talented young people, and sports programs that help build strong character and values.

Rotary Club Pipera continues to demonstrate that when a community comes together, good truly becomes a reality.
