Lumya Campus

Campus Lumya is a pioneering project carried out by the NIA Neurodiversity Academy Association, structured on 3 complementary pillars:

    • Innovative and replicable structural model that leads to an increase in the quality of services dedicated to people with autism and their families
    • Specialized, integrated and individualized services, offered in complementary care environments within the first multifunctional campus in Romania, dedicated to adolescents and adults with autism
    • Innovative financing model in the non-governmental environment in Romania – balanced and complementary mix of fundraising through a multitude of instruments, as well as through social entrepreneurship

The land on which Campus Lumya is being built was provided by the Giurgiu County Council, has a total area of 21,500 sq m and will integrate, in 2 distinct phases, the following services:

    • Phase 1 – Outpatient medical center; Multifunctional therapy and independent living center; 20 houses with 42 beds; Canteen and dining room; Greenhouse; Paddock
    • Phase 2 – Vocational school; Sports and recreational center
